JA New York: How long have you been designing jewelry?

Shana Kroiz: Since 1986

JA New York: What about jewelry as an art form are you drawn to in particular?

SK: I love that it is personal and I believe that Jewelry helps people express themselves as well as create the opportunity for discussions and building of personal relationships. I also believe that Jewelry helps women feal special and beautiful.

JA New York: What inspires your designs?

SK: I am inspired by both equity forms and symbols of sensuality.

JA New York: Instagram or Facebook?

SK: Both Instagram and Facebook. 

JA New York: If you got a one-way plane ticket to anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

SK: Spain, I have always wanted to go there for the architecture and art. Plus, I think they would love my work.
