JV Insardi Jewelry designer, Jen Insardi, believes in jewelry’s ability to tell stories and convey emotions. Each piece in her collection is imbued with the impassioned narrative present in its creation, whether romantic or fierce, and becomes a distinctive personal expression of each of its wearers. Her work is bold and sculptural, and the impeccable craftsmanship inherent in its fabrication ensures that her jewelry will be passed down for generations. Crafted in rich, 18k gold, she often incorporates melee diamonds to add a sophisticated complement to the designs.
Jen has long been passionate about design. After years working in a corporate environment, she decided to follow her creative pursuits and began studying at Parsons School of Design in New York City, with a discipline in interior design. Parsons gave Jen the opportunity to challenge herself creatively and ultimately allowed her to find her artistic voice. She continued her design studies at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where she began to perfect the tactile process of creating pieces by hand. While leveraging her knowledge in interior design renovating homes with an eye for investment, Jen was simultaneously developing her fine jewelry line, exploring all facets of the medium and creating bespoke pieces for clients.
Jen considers her fine jewelry collection an extension of her internal voice, an expression of her deepest thoughts and emotions. Though she sketches each of her designs when bringing them to life, she prefers getting her hands dirty by hand-carving the wax herself. This provides her with a deeper understanding of each of the curves and angles in her pieces, and the visual calculation present in the process helps her to create balance and precision. With an impeccable eye and exquisite taste, Jen is meticulous in safeguarding the quality in the craftsmanship of her designs, resulting in pieces that evoke a sense of permanence.
Jen currently commutes between New York City and Nashville, and she is making her official New Designer Gallery (NDG) debut at our summer event.
