A background in geology and a deep desire to create led Aimee Petkus to conceive her eponymous collection of jewelry. She is inspired by the stark contrasts of her surrounding nature, a sentiment that is apparent in precious stone wire studs, sprightly Geo rings and made-to-order pendants. Aimee’s work fuses art and science in a process that incorporates both organic and inorganic materials; reflecting the duality found within her own life. Her unique approach adds individuality and notable metalsmith work to the JA New York New Designer gallery.
