Store owner and master craftsman Russell Criswell opened Vulcan’s Forge in 1986, following a 7 year apprenticeship. In addition to selling jewelry created by multiple manufacturers, he also enjoys pushing the envelop of jewelry design with the custom design work he does for his loyal, Kansas City, MO area clientele. While Russell thrives within his retail environment, his interests also extend to making armor and weapons, fixing up his 100+ year old house and tinkering with his classic cars.
