The designer behind Eden Presely, Gwen Myers, thinks of herself as a mom and a wife who happens to have a very cool day job doing what she loves! Her collection is literally the gift that keeps on giving–pieces with inspirational phrases, luscious pops of color and bold and daring designs serve as a constant source of encouragement to the wearer. While she may not be technical, and she may not be the uniform type, we recently learned that Gwen does, in fact, have a secret super power….

Gwen Myers: Bespoke, color

GM: I’m not the uniform type.

GM: New York Times

GM: Doodling

GM: I’m not technical

JA New York: Favorite Cities?

GM: Miami, Rome, London and, of course, New York City

GM: My family…it’s my personal cathedral.

JA New York: If you had a Super Power it would be….?

GM: I’m able to scan a display of anything without seeing the prices and fall in love with the most expensive thing.

GM: Someplace warm.

GM: My phone

JA New York: Dream celebrity client?

GM: This is a tough one because while I love to have celebrities wear my pieces, I’d much rather have a wider range of people wearing and enjoying my pieces. I make these tiny pieces of art because they add beauty to my life, and I’d like everyone to have that in some way.
