Alamea was launched by a group of artists who exhibited at local arts and crafts fairs in Hawaii, where they quickly discovered that their product offerings were speaking to people’s hearts. After their initial success, they opened their first Hawaiian flagship store in Waikiki where, in addition to offering their nature-inspired jewelry creations, they produced wooden boxes in which to keep their exceptional keepsakes. Their mission is to pull the most stunning elements from nature, and craft them into symbols of love that celebrate life’s unforgettable moments. We caught up with Art Director James Chung to get a little insight into the personal side of the brand.
