It is August, and for me, that means one thing: I am already thinking about Fall. You see, my summer is over. This past Sunday morning, my wife and I joined the ranks of other Northeastern parents in the bittersweet task of picking up our children from sleepaway camp.
For four glorious weeks, we all won. The kids had their adventures, and we had a rare taste of quiet. But now, our house has burst back into life. The noise level and food consumption have skyrocketed overnight. The back-to-school sales are in full swing, and the schools are already asking for this year’s forms. So, I declare it Fall.
