Designer Nina Nguyen grew up in Central Vietnam, surrounded by a family of jewelers. After being forced to flee the country, Nina and her family moved to the United States where she quickly learned to adapt. Years later, on a hiatus from her job in finance, Nina was trekking through India when she became enamored with the raw gemstones she encountered, and she decided to return to her roots and allow her creativity to flow. Forgoing a career in finance, Nina launched her eponymous collection, which is infinitely wearable and begs to be layered and stacked!
We caught up with Nina in advance of this week’s show to get a little insight into her brand and found out she has a penchant for French Fries, chocolate, and magical, off-the-beaten-path cities!
