We were lucky enough to meet the masterminds behind the stunning Crysellas brand during our JA New York Special Delivery Show. Founded in 2012 out of the passion of designer Yeşim Arslanbek and her sister, architect Mine Arslanbek, Crysellas is a dynamic, original jewelry brand crafted in Istanbul, Turkey. Sophisticated and versatile and designed for the modern woman, all Crysellas creations are handmade in Istanbul, with the exquisite attention to detail that is Crysellas’ signature. We hope to be seeing this talented duo on the “trade show circuit” for many years to come! 

JA New York: What 5 words that best describe your brand DNA?

Yesim Arslanbek: “Beauty of Nature,” the name of one of our lines. Elegant, Stylish, Inspired by Nature.

Mine Arslanbek: Elegant, Delicate, Intricate, Quality and Poetic.

JA New York: What’s your trade show uniform?

YA: I would love to wear heels, but I can’t. I always have flowers in the booth.

MA: Always wear black, it’s neutral and not competing with whatever you’re showing.

JA New York: Go-to news source?

YA: Fashion T.V., InStyle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar.

MA: Facebook.

JA New York: Guilty pleasure?

YA: Chocolate
